Former Head Coach at Villanova University
I recently did a clinic in Whitemarsh and saw a bunch of the kids you have been doing lessons for. I was overly impressed with their mechanics and ability to hit the ball. You are doing a great job! I was wowed by these kids. I hadn't seen them for 2 years and the difference you made in them was unreal.

“Passion is something that you cannot teach” Coach E was my coach in 2016, I was 14 years old. To this day, this is something that I hear everytime I step onto the field, something that I will never forget. Everyone says that passion cannot be taught, but throughout my time playing for Coach E, she found a way to bring that passion out in her players, passion that they didn’t know they had for the game. In other words, she made her players feel that passion that separated the good players from the great. She brings this out in players by pushing them, pushing them harder than they have ever been pushed before. Some will fold and give up, while others will stay and they will want to be there and give their all, all the time. Those are the ones with that passion. Growing up, I always loved playing softball, however, Coach E gave me an even greater love for this game and, for that, I am forever grateful to have had Coach E as my coach.

Coach E instilled something in me that no coach ever had, intensity. No matter if we were at a game, practice, or even just goofing around during team bonding, she always stressed the importance of giving your all. She taught us the value that comes from paying attention to detail as games can be won and lost from overlooking even the smallest things (such as not getting excited for your teammate when they make a play). She always pushed us to be our best and believed that every single one of us had the ability to do amazing things on and off the field. Having Coach E as my coach improved not only my physical softball skills, but my mental as well. She filled me with confidence and taught us how to let things go and not dwell on the past. She is an elite coach with amazing skills and I wouldn’t be where I am today without her.

Coach E is BY FAR the best coach I have ever played for! She is so passionate about coaching and she improved my game both physically & mentally beyond measures. She pushed me to my limits and expected nothing but the best; that’s how we worked and it got the job done almost every time. Whenever people ask me to reflect on the “best” of my travel ball career, my year with her as my coach is the first thing that comes to mind. The biggest thing she did for me was believe in me...which I am so grateful for because I cannot say the same about other coaches. Overall, she is an amazing coach, but even more of an amazing person.

Thank you so much for this season, Coach E. You’ve helped me grow as a player and as a person tremendously. Seriously, this season may have been the biggest growth of mine yet. Overall, thank you for making this a great season and helping me become a better player. I appreciate it so much!

I'd like to thank you for this season. If it weren't for you I wouldn't be the player I am today. You've helped me grow into a smarter, more confident player. I learned so much from you and I can never thank you enough for that. This season I began pushing myself and leaving my comfort zone- I believe I am a better player because of it.

Throughout the past two years Coach E has impacted my life in more ways than one. As a coach she has pushed me to become the best player that I can be. She knows when she needs to get on me versus when I need a softer coaching approach. She also was a great role model to help me grow into the leader and person that I am today. Overall I wouldn’t be the same player, person, or athlete without her in my life.

As a player joining a new organization, Coach E made my transition to a new team very smooth. I felt like I was a part of the team since day one and Coach E had a big impact on that. She never looked at anyone as a “new player” or a “returner.” Everyone had to earn their spots and were given the opportunity. She encouraged me to go after my dream school and pushed me to play at the level I want to excel at. Her encouragement and coaching style helped my mentality as a player, which improved my performance in games. Coach E has made me a better player and I would not be where I am without her.

I learned so much and had a lot of fun the past two weekends. Being around your energy was awesome because I am a very energetic player and person, and having that energy around me makes me even more excited to play in college and for the future! You had a big impact on me the past two weekends and I really appreciate your coaching skills and the contagious energy you bring to the field. Thanks again for coming to work with the Gems!

Assistant Coach 10u Newtown Rock
You ran a phenomenal clinic --how you broke down into digestible steps each of the drills was amazing --beyond your knowledge of the game and how you are able to connect with 9 and 10 year olds, your positivity, encouragement and electric energy were some of the best I've ever seen. It's great to have a woman who's played the sport teach these girls --your energy is contagious and I feel so fortunate that both of my daughters were able to experience your coaching in the clinic.
THANK YOU for giving it your 100% and bringing out the best in these girls!

Erica ran a clinic for our 10U team, covering hitting, fielding and throwing. She has a unique ability to connect and teach. Our girls were engaged and fed of Erica's enthusiasm. In addition to teaching fundamentals and proper technique, she stressed the importance of doing little things together as a team. Parents, coaches and players were all impressed with Erica. We look forward to working with her again!

Erica, I just wanted to drop a note and say thank you for your help with our Gems team the past 2 weeks. You bring so much to the table as a coach. Rock is lucky to have you!
More than anything, I appreciate your connection to the players. They simply felt an immediate connection. As a coach, I admire that you don't go more than 15 seconds without coaching.

I wanted to reach out to you and let you know we got a new head coach from MIT and had our first practice this weekend. It's so nice to really be learning again- it reminds me of Rock practices where we would constantly be working at a faster pace and learning more about a higher level game rather than just going through the motions. Her style is so close to yours and I love it because it makes softball feel intense again.
